I Tried AI Video Creation  – Here’s What I Learned as a Beginner

    AI is everywhere right now.

People are creating videos, images, music, stories, and even entire social media posts with the help of artificial intelligence. And honestly, when I first started seeing all of this, I had one thought:

     “How are people doing this?!”

I had absolutely no idea where to start.

So instead of just watching other people create AI content, I decided to try it myself.

And this is what I learned.

🌷 You Don’t Need to Be an Expert to Start

The first thing I realized is that AI content creation isn’t only for tech experts.

You don’t need to know coding. You don’t need an expensive setup. And you definitely don’t need to understand every AI tool available on the internet.

     You just need an idea.

For example, I wanted to create a cute birthday video for someone special. My idea was simple:

A cute baby singing a birthday song, pastel decorations.

That tiny idea was enough to get started.

🤖 AI Can Turn an Idea Into Something Real

This is probably my favorite thing about AI.

Normally, creating a video like this could require:

     Finding or creating characters

    – Designing the background

    – Recording audio

    – Editing everything together

    – Adding music and effects

With AI tools, many of these steps can be simplified.

You can describe what you want using a prompt, and AI can help turn your description into an image or video.

The better you describe your idea, the closer the result can be to what you imagined.

✍️ Prompts Matter More Than I Expected

At first, I thought I could simply write:

     «“Make a cute birthday video.”»

    And that’s it.

    Well… not exactly. 😂

    AI needs details.

Instead of a basic prompt, I learned to describe things such as:

     Character + action + environment + mood + colors + camera movement + style

    For example:

«A cute cheerful baby sitting in a pastel-colored birthday setup, softly singing a birthday song, surrounded by pastel balloons and a small birthday cake, warm dreamy lighting, adorable expressions, cinematic close-up, soft and wholesome atmosphere.»

Suddenly, the result becomes much more specific.

🎨 The Little Details Make a Big Difference

One thing I really enjoyed was experimenting with visual details.

Instead of randomly choosing colors, I decided to use a pastel theme.

Soft pink, baby blue, lavender, cream and peach instantly made the video feel sweeter and more romantic.

    This taught me something important:

AI can create the content, but your creative decisions give it personality.

You still have to decide what you want your audience to feel.

    🎬 My Biggest Beginner Mistake

I wanted everything to be perfect in the first attempt.

And that’s probably the biggest mistake beginners can make.

Sometimes the character doesn’t look exactly right.

     Sometimes the background changes.

     Sometimes the movement looks strange.

Sometimes AI completely misunderstands what you meant.

And yes… sometimes you look at the result and think:

     “What even is this?” 😂

But that’s part of the process. You try again.

     You change the prompt.

     You remove unnecessary details.

     You add more specific instructions.

And slowly, the result gets better.

     💡 AI Isn’t Replacing Creativity

Before experimenting with AI, I thought AI would do basically everything for me.

     Now I see it differently.

AI is more like a creative assistant.

     You bring the idea.

     AI helps you explore it.

     You choose what works.

     You edit it.

     You add your personality.

And finally, you create something that feels like yours.

That’s what makes AI content interesting.

🌱 What I’d Tell Someone Who Wants to Start

If you’re curious about AI content creation but have no idea where to begin, don’t try to learn 50 tools at once.

    Start with one simple project.

     Maybe create:

     – A birthday video

    – A short story

    – An AI-generated character

    – A YouTube Short

    – A motivational video

    – A cute animation

    – A travel concept video

     Start small.

     Experiment.

     Make mistakes.

     Try different prompts.

And most importantly, have fun with it.

You don’t have to be an AI expert to be an AI creator.

You just need an idea and enough curiosity to try.

     ❤️ My Unscripted Takeaway

My biggest takeaway from experimenting with AI is surprisingly simple:

Technology doesn’t have to replace your creativity. It can help you express it.

I started with a small idea for a birthday video and ended up learning about prompts, visuals, storytelling, editing and creative direction along the way.

And that’s exactly why I want to keep experimenting.

     Because I’m still learning.

     I’m still figuring things out.

     And honestly?

That’s the fun part of being unscripted.

     ✨ What I’m Trying Next

I’m going to keep experimenting with AI videos, images, music and content creation—and I’ll share the things that actually work, the things that don’t, and everything I learn along the way.

Welcome to Unscripted With Ritika. 💕

No perfect plan. Just ideas, experiments and a little bit of AI.
